If you are not sure why you need to write event copy, think of it this way:
Event copy must communicate why your event will be exciting and beneficial. Event copy needs to have a clear purpose and objective so that people will be motivated to join. If your event copy is unclear or not focused then it won’t inspire action from your potential clients or customers. Therefore your event will fail to attract visitors to register!

Timing: Write the date on which your event will take place. You might want to add the time too because some people like to know when an event starts and when it ends. For example: “Tuesday, January 27, 2016 at 10 am.” If you have already taken place in this particular venue then you can use those words as well.
